All homework has a purpose and is related to what we are working on in class.  It is simply a quick review of the concepts we are learning.  Homework not only reinforces what we have learned in the classroom, but it helps to increase your child's skills and knowledge, provide opportunities for creative ability, and to challenge every pupil.  In PreK, your child will have weekly and monthly projects. The weekly homework assignment will consist of practicing fine motor skills, reading and discussing poetry, counting numbers and occasional sheets consisting of things we have discussed in the classroom.  Monthly projects will be handed out at the beginning of the month and due the last of the month.  The monthly project will be a family project involving the whole family.

 I have truly been blessed with these wonderful children.  Parents, please remember to check your child's Titans folder daily.  Also, please label AM and PM snacks with your child's name.  This helps when it comes time for us to distribute the snacks to the children.

I appreciate everyone's support regarding the food allergies that we have in our classroom.  For our new families, please do not send any products containing peanut butter with your child for snack or lunch.  Thank you so much for your cooperation.
